New speakers!

 

We are very happy to admit we have received enthusiastic feedback in response to our Call for Speakers. We would like to thank all applicants for their interest and involvement in establishing a diversified agenda of the event!

The Program Board has made the final decision and we would like to welcome our new speakers!

  • Paul Hodgkins will tell us about the evolution of the PMO. Paul joined Siemens in 1984 as a graduate trainee and within two years entered in to the world of Project Management. His achievements were recognized when he won the prestigious UK National Sales Award for “Sales Support Team of the Year”. His efforts led Siemens UK plc in 2008 to become the first corporate organisation in the UK to receive accreditation from the Association for Project Management. In April 2009, Paul was nominated by ‘Project Magazine’ as one of ten ‘key influencers’ in the UK in relation to the profession of project and programme management.

 

  • Johnny Mo will be speaking about individuals' soft skills and communication, human aspect in projects, often not taken into account when evaluating the successful execution of the project. Johnny Mo, PMP, is passionate about leadership and project management. Currently he is in charge of the PMO and the Enterprise Architect group for Penn West, an oil and gas company in Canada. He has served on the board of directors for both the PMI - Southern Alberta Chapter and the PMI Information Systems SIG. He was a member of the prestigious PMI Leadership Institute Advisory Group. Johnny speaks 4 languages, is a certified national ice hockey referee instructor and a Captain in the Canadian Army as well as a Distinguished Toastmaster, the highest level in Toastmaster International.

 

  • Last but not least - Yohan Abrahams will present a case study: „Creating and growing PMO that deliver value to organizations”. Yohan is the President of the PMI UK where he is presently leading the creation of a PMO Forum which will deliver workshops exploring current challenges facing organizations implementing PMO structures. His interest in PMO goes back over ten years when he first served in the Committee of the PMO Special Interest Group in the UK. Yohan has shared his experiences before in Poland, addressing the Gdańsk University of Technology Faculty of Management and Economics MBA Programme in November 2012.
